After more than two months of development, I am proud to present Quantria. A very dark...but almost light skin.
Features Include:
4 Substyles (Dark & Light, each with a compact Start Menu).
All original Toolbar Icons and Shell Animations.
Custom UIFiles for the Shellstyles.
All parts of WB are skinned. This includes all the new WB5 features except for per-pixel titlbars, which was completed...but later pulled out because of certain limitations with them. Will try to put them back soon...
Disclaimer:
This is a very dark skin. You WILL run into problems with certain applications having unreadable text (black text on black background). There is nothing I can do to fix this. So, I made a "Light" substyle that will hopefully get around the majority of these problems, without comprimising the original look of the skin (meaning it's still pretty dark).
Any bugs or questions, you can send an email to SkinningHus@gmail.com
This is a fantastic new WindowBlinds theme. I have personally applied this skin to my desktop and I enjoy the cleanliness of the skin. It's not cluttered, bulky or cumbersome. The skin is very easy to use on a daily basis and it's very easy on the eyes with it's dark base color and blue/white highlights. Thanks for sharing it with us! I liked this skin so much that I've featured it on Deviously Artistic (here).
I gotta say that this is one of the absolute, most impresive skins for WindowBlinds that I have ever used. Not generally fond of dark skins but this is the exception to that rule.
Now, with that said; while this is a dark skin there are some areas where it is unusable, which you seem to have addressed in your "light" version. Though that does not seem to affect certain popular applications, such as the "tabs" in Firefox. The text on them is unreadible and while I realize this probably is not too much your fault do you have any ideas how to fix that?
Also, the only thing I really dislike about the skin is the main font choice. Any way to change that?

About the font color on the light substyle, it's a no-win situation there. If I change the color so it's readable on the tabs, the rest of the colors won't be readable, such as inactive tabs and buttons. The only thing I suggest is to use a Firefox skin that uses it's own tabs and colors, like Whiteheart for example.
As to changing the fonts, you can do this pretty easily in SkinStudio, as the majority of the fonts are all the same, so you change one, you pretty much change them all. If you open SkinStudio, in the left pane, go to Misc.->resets->Font Presets. There, just edit all the fonts to what you would prefer.
this is absolutely gorgeous! i just got myself set up with a black skin, the wallpaper is greenish, but when i change wallpapers this skin will be a must use!
